Kodak, Xerox Still in 2009 Fortune 500 List

Despite hard times in the digital era, Kodak and Xerox have continued to make it to the 2009 Fortune 500 list, albeit in slightly lower rankings this time.

Kodak slipped down to No. 284 from its previous perch at No. 238. Xerox is down just 3 notches to No. 147 from the previous No. 144 slot. The 2009 ranking by Fortune is based on revenue in 2008.

Kodak was the world’s foremost imaging innovator in its heydays, but has struggled to survive when film got sidetracked in favor of digital. Kodak is expected to announce its Q1 2009 financial results on Thursday, April 30, 2009.
