Fujifilm Touchscreen FinePix Z300: A Real Point-and-Shoot

Fujifilm FinePix Z300 Point-and-Shoot Camera

The Fujifilm FinePix Z300 debuted in Tokyo yesterday, touting a large 3.0″ touchscreen display with a new touch shutter control. With the new feature, users can just touch the screen to select a focus area and to actually take the picture.

The Z300 packs a 10-megapixel CCD sensor and a 5x optical zoom lens (36-180mm).

The new camera brings the point-and-shoot label to a new level: its 6 auto scene modes allow you to just point the camera at the subject. The camera will then automatically select the appropriate mode (“Person,” “Landscape,” “Night Scene,” “Macro,” “Sun & People,” or “Night Scene & Portrait”).
