Fujifilm’s new medium format film camera, the GF670 Professional, is now available in the United Kingdom. The GF670 is also sold as the Voigtländer Bessa III for the rest of Europe.
The new folding camera, with bellows, offers 6†x 6†and 6†x 7†format shooting, selectable via a simple switch, with 120 and 220 roll film. The GF670 features a Fujinon EBC 80 mm lens and coupled rangefinder.
The GF670 has manual shutter speed control and offers a setting for aperture priority automation. With manual film advancement, exposure counter display, and an ISO setting dial, the camera also provides -2/+2 exposure compensation and includes a hot shoe flash mount and a PC sync connection socket. It also boasts a ‘whisper quiet’ shutter mechanism, an Electronic Leaf shutter with speeds ranging from 4s~1/500s including bulb with flash sync at all speeds.
The GF670 is available now from UK retailers at £1,700, about US $2,500.
