DivX Stage6 Beta is now out with a new look and new features to enable anyone to upload, download, view, share and experience everything from short clips captured on mobile phones all the way up to full-length, high-definition feature films.
DivX Stage6 is a high-quality video platform originally launched as an experimental alpha site in August 2006. The company says its evolution to the beta stage signifies a more robust site with a completely new look and feel and significantly more features for both filmmakers and users.
We didn’t catch the alpha version, but DivX says the beta version includes these new features: deeper and more accurate video browsing, tools for users to stay up to date with their favorite channels, content and users; real time activity snapshots, and far more sophisticated channel customizations tools that enable content creators to organize, aggregate, present and track content in various ways.
Here, try a few videos from their site. They’ll make your YouTube videos look like primitive pixilated amateur renderings.
