Casio Unveils Exilim Zoom EX-Z1050

Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z1050

The Exilim Zoom EX-Z1050 is the latest addition to Casio’s stylish series of Exilim digital cameras. This little lady packs a punch with 10.1 megapixels and a newly developed image-processing module which Casio claims not only improves image quality, but also boosts performance.

For example, its new motion analysis technology instantly computes the velocity and vector of a moving subject and sets the appropriate ISO setting and shutter speed. It’s part of Casio’s new Exilim Engine 2.0 image processing module, designed to reduce blur and deliver high quality images.

The EX-Z1050 is also capable of shooting a maximum of 7 shots per second in continuous shooting mode. It sports a bright 2.6-inch LCD screen that also displays shooting information on the right side of the monitor and enables direct camera control.

It doesn’t come cheap though. It’s yours for $450 a pop; available in silver, black, gold, blue and pink.
