Also today, Canon USA announced two new multifunction printers, the PIXMA MP480 and PIXMA MP190 Photo All-In-One (AIO) printers, designed for simple operation and maximum performance, while also providing new automatic features for enhanced scanning, copying and photo printing.
The company said the PIXMA MP480 Photo All-In-One is equipped with a 1.8-inch TFT color LCD display and an easily navigated control panel. It also has an Auto Photo Fix and Auto Scan Mode, that should reduce the steps necessary to print a beautiful photo or capture a great scan.
The PIXMA MP190 Photo All-In-One is aimed at the more economically minded consumer. It features a maximum of 4800 x 1200 dpi color resolution, and a minimum two-picoliter droplet size for photo quality printing. Text printing speeds are up to 19 ppm for black and up to 15 ppm for color, quite fast for a budget AiO. The printer also delivers 4 x 6 inch borderless photo quality prints in approximately 70-seconds.
The Pixma MP480 sells for $100 while the MP190 retails for $70.
