Animoto Redefines, Maybe Buries Slideshows

Animoto Logo

When I first heard the word Animoto, I first thought it was another food seasoning, but no. It’s a new way of looking at slideshows, or rather, looking at the demise of slideshows.

You see, slideshows are so yesterday. Animoto is today. You feed it your photos and it spits out an animated and music-themed production of your images. It’s like viewing a movie trailer of your photo album.

Think of it as a movie factory for your photos. They guarantee that no two productions will ever be the same; it’s a unique production everytime. You can email the finished production to your friends or post it on your site.

It’s a service by the guys at Animoto.com and they’ll give it to you free if all you need is a 30-second clip. There’s a fee if you want a longer production.

See samples of their work via the link below. These guys are awesome.
