SanDisk has released a new SDHC memory card turbo-charged for speed, the 8GB Extreme III card.
It comes packaged with the SanDisk MicroMate USB 2.0 Reader and it can be yours for $180; in stores in the U.S. within the next 30 days.
The 8GB SanDisk Extreme III SDHC card can store more than 4,000 high-resolution pictures or up to 16 hours of MPEG 4 video. The card has a read/write speed of 20 megabytes per second to provide rapid downloads to a PC.
It’s targeted at owners of high-performance digital cameras like the Nikon D80 and Canon EOS-1D Mark II.
