Canon Marketing Philippines has launched “Smile 7107,†a photo contest to showcase the beauty of the archipelago. 7,107 is supposed to be the exact number of islands in the Philippines, not counting those that disappear in high tide.
The contest is open to all amateur and professional photographers who own or use Canon digital cameras. Canon Philippines is urging them to travel to various destinations in the country and take their photos.
“The Smile 7107 photo competition is just one component of our ImageNation campaign to celebrate Canon’s 10th anniversary in the Philippines,†said Ramon Arteficio, president and CEO of Canon Marketing (Philippines) Inc.
