Adorama Launches “100 in 100” Mini Site

Adorama 100 in 100

Adorama, which is not only an excellent source of photographic gear but leads in photography education as well, has posted its “100 in 100” webpage, which aims to give us 100 photography tips in 100 days.

The latest is on finding the sharpest aperture on any lens, the “sweet spot” at which a camera gives its best focus. Bob Atkins says for many consumer zooms, the sweet spot is between f/8 and f/11. For a higher-quality zoom it may be between f/5.6 and f/8 and for fast prime lenses between f/4 and f/5.6.

The “100 in 100” site so far has 6 tips posted, 94 to go. Already posted are tips on photographing things under your feet, capturing B&W and color at the same time, how to read a histogram, how to take action shots of people jumping and how to shoot under a bright sun.
