Do you always have to stoop down to look at your computer screen when shooting tethered? You really don’t have to.
Here’s how the masters do it: straight from Joe McNally’s own studio is a tripod setup which incorporates a computer platform rig. It uses a Manfrotto Accessory Arm 3153 double head support, but instead of another camera on the other head, Joe set up the Gitzo G065 Laptop Platform. All these sit on top of the very stable Gitzo GT-5560SGT tripod.
Sweet. The whole platform is set at eyeball height so you don’t need to do any more stooping down to look at your computer.
