Photographers from all over the world will converge in Las Vegas next month for the 2010 Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) convention on March 4-11 at the MGM Grand. WPPI is the largest annual expo and conference in the United States for professional photographers, drawing more than 11,000 attendees every year.
The 2010 WPPI will feature 160 of the best professional photographers in the business, including Marcus Bell, Bambi Cantrell, Tony Corbell, Jim Garner, Jerry Ghionis, Doug Gordon, Kevin Kubota, Dane Saunders, Jasmine Star and Yervant Zanazanian to name a few.
“Education is the key to success in everything we do in life,†said George Varanakis, WPPI’s Group Publisher and Executive Vice President, “and the goal for WPPI is to help educate photographers, both professional and those looking to enter the professional photography business.â€
Topics in the convention will include wedding, portrait, fine art, nature/landscape, lighting/posing, commercial, photojournalism, Photoshop, video, and business and marketing.
