Western Digital Releases New My Passport Elite Mobile Drives

Western Digital’s My Passport Elite is a new external mobile disk drive that features an illuminated capacity gauge and drive lock indicator so users can see at a glance how much space is left on their drive and whether their data is secure.

WD said the new drive also comes with a convenient grab-and-go USB dock which frees up valuable desk space and eliminates the search for USB ports, making it ideal for professionals who take their data back and forth to the office.

My Passport Elite drives are available now in Anodized Red, Anodized Blue and Charcoal Metallic colors and are offered in capacities of 320 GB, 500 GB and 640 GB (priced at $120, $160 and $170, respectively).
