Wacom to Demo G6 Multi-Touch at CES 2010

At Thursday’s CES 2010 (Jan 7-10 in Las Vegas) Wacom will unveil its new G6 multi-touch sensor system, touting 4x improvement in touch sensitivity, 30% reduction in space over past sensors and reduced power consumption.

The company announced they have begun shipping the new multi-touch sensor system for integration with Windows 7 PCs. “Wacom continues to develop its production and project support systems to meet the demands of the multi-touch sensor market for a growing number of Windows 7 PCs,“ said Masahiko Yamada, President and CEO of Wacom.

Visitors to Wacom booth 31435, located on the upper level of the Center’s South Hall, will be able to put the multi-touch sensor capabilities to the test on one of the latest consumer notebook computers from HP, the first to incorporate the new sensor system into a mobile device.
