DxO Labs has updated their optics correction software DxO Optics Pro to Version 5.3.3. The Elite version now adds support to the massive Nikon D3x and the Sony Alpha DSLR-A900 top-tier DSLRs.
Thrown in for good measure are 43 new DxO Optics correction modules for a variety of cameras including the Sony Alpha DSLR A700 and A900, the Nikon D40x, D80, D90, D300, D700, D3, D3x, and the Canon 400D/DIGITAL REBEL XTi, 450D/DIGITAL REBEL XSi, 50D and 5D Mark II.
The software is used to correct the optical faults of cameras such as pin-cushioning, barrel distortion and skewed perspectives. It also promises outstanding results in noise removal, detail rendition and color fidelity at any ISO sensitivity. The enhancements and corrections can be applied in batches of images.
Version 5.3.3 is a free upgrade for users who purchased their DxO Optics Pro since August 1, 2007.
