The London-based Association of Photographers (AOP) is calling for entries to their AOPOPEN photography contest. The competition is open to all photographers from anywhere in the planet – pros and enthusiasts alike – and it offers prizes worth over £2,000 (about $4,000) including a Nikon D200, 17-55mm lens and Epson photo printers.

Awards will be presented for the ‘Best in Show’ choices and the ‘Public Choice’ winner. The AOPOPEN exhibition showing the winning images runs from August 22 to September 28, 2007 at the AOP Gallery in London.

There is an entry fee of £12.00 per image if you wish to join, and entries can be submitted on CD or as prints. Deadline for entries is July 5.
