This is the new CR-1350p pocket-sized USB 2.0 card reader from Trust Computer Products. It boasts support for 36 types of compact memory cards, including those used in digital cameras and mobile phones – SD, MMC, Memory Sticks, MiniSD, microSD, etc., etc.
But alas, it does not support CompactFlash cards, leaving out the multitude of professional photographers who do use the bigger card.
The supported memory cards – mostly in the Memory Stick and Secure Digital camps – can be inserted on its side and the device itself plugs in directly to any USB port. Its design is compact, almost the same as most other USB sticks and it does not require extra software to run. Just plug it in and play.
The Trust 36-in-1 USB2 Mini Cardreader CR-1350p will be available in July for $20.
