Taiwan’s Silicon Power Launches 32GB CF, 16GB SDHC Cards

Silicon-Power 32GB 300X CF Card

Taiwan-based Silicon Power has announced its 32GB capacity high speed 300X CompactFlash card offering data transfer rates of up to 45MBps and built-in error-correcting code (ECC) to detect and correct transfer errors.

The company specifically targets the new CF card towards professional photographers and photography enthusiasts who demand superior performance and reliability from their memory cards, saying it’s the best for high-performance digital single lens reflex (DSLR) cameras.

Silicon-Power said the new card supports PIO mode6, MWDMA4 and UDMA5 and complies with Europe’s RoHS standard. It also touts low power consumption.

Silicon-Power 16GB SDHC Class 6 Memory Card

The Silicon-Power CF card is available in 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities.

Together with the new CF card, Silicon-Power also launched its new Class 6 16GB SDHC memory card.
