Shoot Me Some Photos for My Songs

Philippine Madrigal Singers

In the Philippines, a national photo club is collaborating with a singing institution to hold a photo contest that would best express the sentiments of songs.

The Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation has launched the photo competition in partnership with the Philippine Madrigal Singers, a world-renowned singing group which had been in existence for about 44 years.

The contest is open to member-clubs of the FPPF and the entries will be a club effort. Each member club of the FPPF will be assigned a song by the Madrigals and the club will have to come up with a photo essay that would best interpret the song.

All entries will be shown at the CCP Lobby on the night of the Madrigal Contest on October 27, 2007.
