The Specialty Graphics Imaging Association (SGIA) is reporting that the year 2007 brought in a record-breaking 1,172 new members. The SGIA now counts over 4,000 imagers and suppliers as members from more than 80 countries.

In its yearend report, the association also said it offered an unsurpassed amount of new benefits and profit-building strategies for imaging businesses of all sizes, among them:

Expanded Savings with Yellow: SGIA has negotiated a 70-percent discount (starting January 2008) for members enrolled in the Yellow Transportation Services program.

Online Storefront: This program allows users to set up an online store that offers customizable ordering options for imaged products.

Webinar Series: These online educational sessions offer real-time access to sales and technical information from the leading experts.

Digital Equipment Evaluations: The unbiased evaluations show apples-to-apples comparisons of some of the latest wide-format output devices on the market.

“It’s been an amazing year for SGIA members, and 2008 will build on that success,” said SGIA President/CEO Michael Robertson.
