Samsung Now into Digital Photo Frames, Naturally!

Given its successful track record with LCD screens for TV and PC monitors, it was just a matter of time for Samsung to settle into a niche in the digital photo frames market. And what a formidable presence it has!

With the Samsung brand and Korean manufacturers’ ability to offer lower price points for high-quality products, it could be tough days ahead for the present players in the DPF arena.

Already, Samsung has debuted at CeBIT 07 two new frames with 7” LCD screens packing resolutions of 800 x 480 pixels. Its 72H model only plays JPEG files in simple elegance, but the 72V is something else with its built-in Wi-Fi and its ability to play movies and MP3 files.

And oh, there’s a 10-inch model too, coming soon.
