Professional Photoshop: The Classic Guide to Color Correction

The Classic Guide to Color Correction by Dan Margulis

This book by Dan Margulis “is arguably the most influential book in Photoshop history,” according to its publisher Peachpit Press. The first edition came out in 1994, and since then the book introduced most of the advanced correction techniques that are assumed knowledge for today’s professionals. The book has earned the monicker “the bible of electronic prepress.”

Professional Photoshop: The Classic Guide to Color Correction” is now on its fifth edition, and has been completely revised for the age of digital photography. It is being released as an eBook in the PDF format and is available for $43.

Peachpit said that with this eBook version, you’ll learn to grasp concepts regarding color, curves, and channels and will be rewarded with an in depth understanding of the most advanced Photoshop techniques.

Dan Margulis is known as “the experts’ expert on the logical and effective ways to make any image look its best” (Design Tools Monthly) and “the father of digital pre-press” (Scott Kelby). In 2001, he was one of the first three individuals – and the only writer – to be named as a member of the Photoshop Hall of Fame.
