Prix de la Photographie Paris (Px3) Announces 2007 Winners

The Prix de la Photographie Paris (Px3) has announced the winners of its 2007 competition. Look here for a full list of the year’s winners.

Alex Telfer was named PX3 Photographer of the Year for his “Nikon” photos, while Todd Krainin was named Best New Talent for his Nepal Civil War pictures.

The jury selected this year’s winners from thousands of photography entries from over 85 countries.

Mark Alberhasky of the United States was awarded a third prize in Photojournalism for his entry titled “Portraits of Early Human Life.”

The “Prix de la Photographie, Paris” (Px3) is an organization that strives to promote the appreciation of photography, to discover emerging talent, and introduce photographers from around the world to the artistic community of Paris.

Winning photographs from this competition are exhibited in a high-profile gallery in Paris and published in the high-quality, full-color Px3 Annual Book.
