PhotoVu Enters the Digital Signage Market

PhotoVu Ventures Into Digital Signage Market

PhotoVu, a manufacturer of wall-mounted wireless digital picture frames, is ramping it up a notch by moving into the burgeoning digital signage market.

After proving itself in the digital photo frame market, the company has decided to formally enter the signage arena by opening a new Digital Signage division and rolling out its first network in downtown Boulder, Colorado.

“Many of our business customers who have purchased a PhotoVu over the last five years have already been using our wireless digital picture frames and proven embedded networking technologies for very cost effective digital signs,” said Mark Van Buskirk, partner, PhotoVu.

Buskirk said that with digital signs, business clients can display locally targeted digital signage advertising content from an expanding array of “out-of-home” local networks across the US.
