The annual PhotoPlus Expo 2006 opens on November 2, 2006 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City, featuring the latest gear in digital photography, printing and imaging.

Aside from being a trade expo, this year’s conference will also offer over 100 in-depth photography and design seminars, including several hands-on workshops, taught by world-renowned experts.

Some 256 exhibitors are scheduled to participate in the 3-day event, with over 25,000 visitors expected to attend.

Among the big names slated to attend are Canon, Sigma, Nikon, Kodak, Fuji, Pentax, Sony, Tamron, Lexar and a host of others. Also spotted in the list of exhibitors is studio lighting specialist Alien Bees who will be in Booth 760. Alien Bees founder Paul C. Buff was a recent guest of the LightSource Studio Photography Podcast, featured here at StudioLighting.net.
