The just-released Pentax K-5 Firmware Version 1.03 addresses the K-5’s autofocus accuracy in low light and enhances overall stability of the AF function. The new firmware may now be downloaded from the Pentax website.

The Pentax K-5 digital SLR is a 16.3-megapixel camera which boasts an 11-point SAFOX IX+ autofocus, said to be better and faster than the system in the older Pentax K-7 model. It has a weather-sealed magnesium alloy body.
