Pentax Announces Discounts for Student Photography Classes

Pentax has launched a Student Photography Program where budding photographers and their teachers may avail of significant discounts on camera bodies, lenses and strobes.

The discounts are significant, says Pentax, and they apply to purchases of Pentax products between April 1 and June 30, 2008. Because the discounts are “significant,” Pentax said some requirements have to be met, and approved by the company.

There’s a Pentax Student Program form to be filled up, students must show proof of enrollment in a photography class and educators must submit a copy of course curriculum for their photography class and a copy of a valid faculty identification.

The discounts range from $100 if you buy the K20D body, to $75 for the K200D kit or body, $50 for the D-FA 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens, to $25 for the AF-200FG Flash.

This promotion program is valid only in the U.S.A.
