Panasonic Updates Firmware for GF1, GH1, G1 Cameras

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 Digital Camera

Panasonic has released new firmware for the DMC-GF1, GH1, and G1 Four-Thirds interchangeable lens camera systems. The updated firmware enhances autofocus (AF) performance with lenses from other manufacturers. The updates also improve the AF performance when recording in full HD on the DMC-GH1.

With the firmware updates, Panasonic has improved operation menu for image stabilizer – [OFF] will be added under [STABILIZER] only when LUMIX G VARIO 14-42 mm / F3.5-5.6 ASPH. / MEGA O.I.S. (H-FS014042) is attached.

Another improvement for all models is the modulation accuracy of the flash.
