Panasonic Lumix FZ100 Hybrid Digital Camera

Panasonic has announced the new LUMIX DMC-FZ100 hybrid compact digital camera, featuring a 14.1-megapixel CMOS sensor, 3.0-inch articulating display and 24X optical zoom that extends from an equivalent 25mm to 600mm.

With its CMOS sensor, the new FZ100 boasts full 1080 High Definition (HD) video recording and still photos that are “professional-like” in quality.

The new camera also touts its burst shooting speed – 11 frames per second of 14.1-megapixel full-res images, and up to 60 fps in 3.5-megapixel recording.

The Panasonic Lumix FZ100 will retail at $500 when it hits the market in late August.
