Panasonic Lumix Launches Digital Photo Academy

Beginning in June, Panasonic Lumix will be holding its first Digital Photo Academy workshops in 20 cities across the United States. The workshops are designed to teach users of digital cameras of any level who want to maximize their cameras’ features and create more rewarding and enjoyable photo experiences.

The courses, conducted by local photographers, will be offered once a month in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa and Washington, D.C. Students are welcome to bring whatever brand of camera they currently own and can join the workshops appropriate for their level of expertise.

The Digital Photo Academy workshops are being offered in three levels: “Discovering Digital” for beginners with a course fee of $50; “Digital Endeavors” for intermediate users (4 hours, $65); and “Digital Vision” for advanced digital camera users (2 days, $150).
