Belfast residents and guests have another chance to see Out of the Darkness, 40 years of Northern Ireland Press Photography exhibition, showcasing the work of 63 photographers portraying life in Northern Ireland since the 1970s.

The Northern Ireland Press Photographers Association has brought back the photo exhibit at the Golden Thread Gallery in Belfast after a very successful run earlier this year. The current exhibition is running until September 19.

“The photographs are perhaps the more remarkable because they capture moments in an extraordinary passage in the history of Northern Ireland,” said Roisin McDonough, Chief Executive Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

The Golden Thread Gallery is located on 84-94 Great Patrick Street, Belfast. Admission free.
