Orbis Ring Flash to Launch September 1, 2008

Orbis Ring Flash

The new Orbis ring flash is due for launch on September 1, 2008. In an email to StudioLighting.net, Enlight Photo CEO James Madelin says the new Orbis ring flash works well with the new Nikon SB-900 flash gun.

James says the Orbis ring flash enables photographers to take pictures with shadowless quality ring flash light – without the high costs associated with buying or renting a bulky studio ring flash.

It works with all common models of flash/strobe and uses patent pending light-tunnel technology to create an even ring of light. The Orbis ring flash works best in tandem with a Canon or Nikon strobe like the 580EX, SB-800 or the new SB-900 to produce stunning portraits.

Unlike other ring flash adapters that rely on the fragile hotshoe connection, the Orbis is handheld so it does not impede the camera system functionality.
