Olympus Set to Unveil E-1 Successor on October 17th

As the Digital SLR wars are in full swing Olympus announces that they will be unveiling the successor to there E-1 system.

DPreview reports that there have been internet leaks of specs (unconfirmed by Olympus). The leaks say the new system will be called the “E-3” and will feature “…ten megapixels, Liveview, in-body image stabilization (like the E-510), five frames per second and eleven area auto-focus (as well as normal pro features such as full metal body, weatherproofing, etc.).”
