O’Reilly Releases Photoshop Elements 7: The Missing Manual by Barbara Brundage

The Missing Manual by Barbara Brundage

Book publisher O’Reilly has released Photoshop Elements 7: The Missing Manual by Barbara Brundage, offering an updated guide to the spruced up version of the photo editor.

You might have noticed that Photoshop Elements 7 now includes a few more whiz-bang tools to enhance your photos such as the Scene Cleaner that lets you get rid of unwanted elements and the Smart Brush to touch-up an image to perfection. But the application’s manual is still not that friendly.

The new book by Brundage fills this gap by providing an easy-to-understand guide that enables the user to make the most out of the increasingly powerful Photoshop Elements.

The book carefully explains all the tools and options by putting each one into a clear, easy-to-understand context:

• Learn to import, organize, and fix photos quickly and easily
• Repair and restore old and damaged photos, and retouch any image
• Jazz up your pictures with dozens of filters, frames, and special effects
• Learn which tools the pros use — you’ll finally understand how layers work!
• Create collages and photo layout pages for scrapbooks and other projects
• Fix your photos online and synch the changes to your own photo library

Photoshop Elements 7: The Missing Manual by Barbara Brundage is available now for $45.
