Nikon Releases Firmware 1.1 for D7000 DSLR

New firmware is available for the Nikon D7000 DSLR camera to reduce the occurrence of bright spots that occasionally may be noticeable when recording movies of especially dark scenes or subjects.

Firmware 1.1 is downloadable from the link below.

The Nikon D7000 utilizes a 16.2-megapixel CMOS image sensor powered by Nikon’s latest-generation EXPEED 2 image processing engine. It also boasts a weather-proof magnesium alloy body.

The D7000 features Nikon’s latest 39-point AF system with 3D tracking and 2,016 pixel RGB metering sensor, a 921K dot 3-inch LCD and full HD (1080p) movie recording with continuous autofocus.
