Nikon’s new entry-level DSLR camera touts a 24.2-megapixel APS-C sensor and shares the same EXPEED 3 image processor of the flagship Nikon D4. Newcomers to D-SLR photography will benefit from the camera’s latest Guide Mode that takes the user step by step through the photography process to capture images.

The new camera also features full 1080p HD video, ISO 100-12800, 11-point autofocus system and 4fps continuous shooting. Interestingly, the D3200 offers an option to wirelessly transmit images from your camera to an Android smartphone or tablet device with the addition of the $60 WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter.

The Nikon D3200 will be available in later this month in black or red at a retail price of $700, including an AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR image stabilization lens.
