HP PhotoSmart A626 Photo Printer

The 4.8-inch screen display of the new HP Photosmart A626 printer breaks new ground as the largest LCD ever built into a portable compact photo printer.

The large display makes it easy to view photos and navigate the printer’s interface so you don’t have to connect it to a computer to print your pictures. Photos can simply be read from memory cards inserted into the printer’s card slots, or from PictBridge compatible cameras attached to the printer.

One other cool feature of the new A626 is its ‘virtual ink.’ With it, the user can personalize his photos by using the provided stylus pen and writing on the touch-sensitive screen.

Yes, it’s a touch screen! You can use it not only to navigate the printer’s menu but also to use its library of over 200 creative elements including clipart graphics, frames and pre-designed album pages to enhance your photos.

The company says the A626 uses the HP 110 Tri-color Inkjet Print Cartridge that contains Vivera inks to produce durable lab-quality photos. The new printer is available for about $178.
