“Through the Eyes of the Condor” will be on exhibit at the National Geographic Museum Explorers Hall from Monday, Sept. 10, through Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007.

The exhibit includes 40 dazzling aerial photos by renowned photographer Robert B. Haas, culled from his book Through the Eyes of the Condor: An Aerial Vision of Latin America, published by the National Geographic.

The book and the images are the products of Haas’ two-year journey through Latin America – Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela – photographing the region from a new vantage point.

Haas’ book Through the Eyes of the Condor: An Aerial Vision of Latin America will be off the press in September.
