Mitsubishi Points to Fine Art Photo on How to Profit from Their DPS Kiosk 7000

Mitsubishi DPS Kiosk 7000

Fine Art Photo of Lemoyne, PA is being showcased by Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America for its use of the latter’s DPS Kiosk 7000 and photo printers. The professional photography service and retail store is operated by owner Gary Knaub.

In the store, the Mitsubishi DPS Kiosk 7000 which are attached to Mitsubishi CP-9500DW and CP-9550DW printers allows the customers to do it by themselves, whether they want to print photos or burn them to a disc. The self-service feature of DPS Kiosk 7000 makes it nearly a hands free revenue center for the retail portion of his business.

On the professional services side, Knaub uses the digital printers for a number of tasks, and recently took the Mitsubishi printer on location for a job that he probably would not have gotten without that capability. Fine Art Photo was hired by a local union that was conducting a training seminar. The union wished to provide its members a thank you gift for attending the seminar and thought they might use a Polaroid to provide a photographic memento of the event. Instead, Knaub got the job because he was the only local photographer who could provide them with on site, high quality, instantly available digital prints in 4×6.

“Being able to take a high quality Mitsubishi digital printer on location and print great images immediately adds a revenue stream for us,” said Knaub.
