Magnum Photographer Paolo Pellegrin Injured In Lebanon

Several people were injured in an August 6 missile attack in southern Lebanon, including Magnum Potos Paolo Pellegrin. Pellegrin was working on a story for The New York Times Magazine along with reporter Scott Anderson and their driver. Each of them were treated for a concussion, and Pellegrin and the driver had injuries from shrapnel. They received medical care in Tyre and later visited a hospital in Beirut.

The attack happened at the scene of a missile attack in Tyre, the major city in southern Lebanon. Pellegrin and Anderson were the first car of several journalists when they got out of the car near an injured man in the street. A missile from an Israeli drone struck about 20 feet away.
