Lexar is Ten Years Old and Going Strong

Lexar has chalked up ten years of developing and delivering market-leading flash memory cards and USB drives for a worldwide market, and it is celebrating by highlighting those ten years at the company’s booth (#C066/D069) at the upcoming Photokina show in Cologne, Germany.

Lexar Vice President Leslie Adams said the company has “consistently focused on providing our customers with the most reliable, high-performance digital imaging products possible.”

Lexar has introduced a long list of breakthrough products including high-speed and high-capacity memory cards and USB flash drives, and workflow-improving flash card readers. It is also poised to capitalize on the growing need for high-capacity removable and portable flash storage in other products such as mobile phones, PDAs and handheld gaming devices.

Lexar was originally incorporated in 1996 and recently acquired by Micron Technology, a move that greatly strengthened Lexar’s ability to develop and deliver its popular line of flash memory products.
