Mac OS 10.5 Leopard Operating System

Amazon.com is now taking pre-orders for Apple Max OS Version 10.5, more widely known as Leopard.

Available for the pre-order price of $129, Leopard is scheduled to ship in October. Amazon is offering free shipping with this deal. It’s also tax-free for most states.

Leopard is the sixth iteration of the Mac OS X operating system for Apple’s Mac personal computers. Its release has been delayed several times since it was first publicly discussed by Steve Jobs in 2005.

The new Mac OS includes more than 300 tweaks and improvements. Among the big ones: support for writing 64-bit GUI applications, Time Machine automated backup utility and support for Spotlight searches across multiple machines, and large revisions to most core operating system components.
