Panasonic has released the updated Firmware Version 2.0 for the LEICA D SUMMILUX 25mm f/1.4 lens. The update enables contrast auto-focus when used with the DMC-L10 DSLR camera.
When updating, be sure to also upgrade the DMC-L10’s firmware to Version 1.2. Both firmware upgrades are available at the Panasonic site.
The $800 LEICA D SUMMILUX 25mm f/1.4 is a fast prime lens with an equivalent focal length of 50mm used in the Four Thirds DSLR cameras of Olympus and Panasonic.
