Leaf Releases Capture Version 11.0.1 for Leopard OS

Leaf Photo

Leaf Capture v.11.0.1 is now available for download for users of Leaf digital camera backs and Leaf AFi cameras.

The new version offers major improvements in image organization, access and retrieval throughout the workflow as it supports the new features of the recently-released Leopard Mac OS X 10.5 from Apple.

The company said Leaf Capture offers faster processing speed, and easily facilitates digital RAW capture, editing and processing. It offers an ideal complement to Leopard, enabling Leaf customers to seamlessly work with images and MOS files within the Mac OS.

Significant changes include a redesigned Finder, Stacks and Spaces. Leaf customers will appreciate these major new improvements in Leopard:

  • • The new Desktop offers direct access to images from the Dock, displayed in a ‘stacked’ view, and instantly clickable and searchable.
  • • A QuickLook feature allows images to be seen within folders without the need to open the image. Images can be enlarged for viewing with a simple click, making it simple to select an image to work on or send out.
  • • The innovative ‘Time Machine’ enables the user to easily recover images before they are processed, from any point in the past. Review the image first – then just hit ‘retrieve’.
