Kodak today said their self-service GS Compact Picture Kiosk is now available. This entry-level countertop kiosk is designed for small retailers who print 30-50 prints a day. The unit is small, offering flexible placement with fast and easy installation. It can produce 4×6, 5×7, and 6×8-inch print sizes from the same media pack without ribbon or paper changes.

The GS Compact also includes enhanced ID photo capabilities, which make it easier for retailers to meet size requirements for different countries. In addition to standard prints, consumers can make enlargements and Print Packages and can print pictures from Bluetooth imaging-enabled mobile devices.

The Kodak GS Compact Picture Kiosk was first announced last March at the 2007 PMA trade show. The announcement at the time said it was to be priced at $2,500.
