Kodak Philippines to Make 8 x 5 Feet Photo Album

Kodak Philippines is aiming for the Guinness Book of World Records by attempting to create the world’s biggest photo album. The Philippine photo album, measuring 8ft x 5ft is expected to contain thousands of 4” x 6” and 8” x 10” photos to be posted by visitors.

It’s part of a promotion by Kodak Philippines to encourage Filipinos to continue printing photos and placing them in photo albums, instead of storing them in digital format. Kodak customers can post their photos in the giant photo album; a minimum order of 50 photos from Kodak photo kiosks allows the customer to post his photos in the Philippine photo album and gives the customer a chance to win digital cameras and photo albums from Kodak.

The company will bring the empty giant photo album to malls where they have Kodak printing kiosks. Local entertainment celebrities will grace the event.

The current record for the biggest photo album is held by Dubai where they have an album measuring 7.8ft by 3.9ft.
