Kodak Introduces Z950 10X Zoom Camera, Two Other Compacts

Kodak Z950 10X Zoom Camera

The new KODAK EASYSHARE Z950 digital camera offers a 10x stabilized Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon zoom lens which gives an equivalent 35-350mm zoom range. Max aperture is f/3.5-f/4.8. Kodak says that provides maximum versatility for avid photographers to easily handle both distant and close-up shots.

“The combination of these features plus a 12 MP sensor makes the Z950 a compact digital capture powerhouse, with outstanding image quality and ease of use at an affordable price,” says Phil Scott, Worldwide Director of Marketing for Kodak.

The Z950 zoom camera will retail for $280 when it is released in August 2009. The Z950 is one of three new cameras announced by Kodak this week. The other two are the M381 and M341 compact digital cameras.
