Now it’s Kingston’s turn to release a new microSD flash memory card, following an announcement by SanDisk.
But unlike SanDisk’s 4GB version, Kingston came up with only 2GB, which is still plenty enough for mobile phone users with a lot of data to store. The tiny microSD form factor is usually applied to cellphones and other smaller devices that need memory cards with a small footprint.
The Kingston 2GB microSD is priced at $60 and comes with a standard-size SD card adapter for use with other devices with standard SD slots.
