Not only is HP teaching maintenance skills to users of their Indigo commercial and industrial printing presses, like the Indigo Press 5500 at left, the inventive company also teaches their customers valuable marketing skills.

There are two marketing courses users can take. ‘Maximising the Digital Opportunity’ and ‘Digital Selling Skills’ both aim to improve the business side of using Indigo presses.

In Europe, the marketing programs will be conducted in September and October. Both courses, which are one-day affairs, will be taught by Richard Finan, an independent consultant from UK-based Improve Consultancy, who has extensive knowledge of both the printing industry and business practices.

The courses fall under HP’s Capture Business Success program and focus on enabling printers to hone their marketing and selling skills.
