Gitzo Introduces New Generation of Off-Center Ball Heads

Gitzo GH2750 Off-Center Ball Head

The new Gitzo GH2750 off-center ball head, above, is one of the four new releases from the French manufacturer. The other models are GH3750, GH3750QR and GH2750QR.

The new Gitzo heads may look like their predecessors, with the same look and design of the high quality magnesium shell, but the internal components and mechanisms have been completely re-engineered, according to the company.

Gitzo said the Spring Assisted Double Locking System (SADL) ensures a smoother ball control and a more effective friction operation.

Other enhancements:

The weight has been reduced by 15-17% and new Gitzo technologies have been introduced.

The sphere is now treated with PTFE (Teflon) in order to achieve greater smoothness and precision.

The knobs have a different design that improves ergonomics, allows for a better operation, and contributes to the weight reduction.

Prices:
GH3750 ($264.00)
GH3750QR ($306.00)
GH2750 ($222.00)
GH2750QR ($264.00)
